Suyin lives in Thornhill and has two grown up children. She firmly believes that mothers, partners and their families who get good support following childbirth have better health outcomes and a more confident outlook towards raising children. She enjoys working with children of all ages and thinks it is important that the whole family be supported during this special, amazing if somewhat busy and emotional time. She is respectful of all traditions and cultures and approaches her work with energy and enthusiasm.
Suyin loves cooking healthy meals and can help with menu planning and meal prep. Coming from an Asian background, she is well versed in the Chinese tradition of the month long confinement period and preparation and cooking postpartum meals and drinks for the newly delivered mother. Her other hobbies are cooking, baking, yoga and yarn crafting. She particularly enjoys crocheting and knitting for babies and children.
