Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Jacquie is a registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with parents and their little ones as they navigate the early stages of development and attachment. Jacquie believes in the importance of early intervention and education to empower parents in their journey to support the development of their little ones and to build confidence in their own parenting abilities.
Jacquie received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University in 2004 and since graduating she has worked with infants and toddlers as well as pre-school and school age children and their families. Jacquie brings over 16 years of experience working with children and their families in a wide variety of settings in the community (in-home and in-school), private pediatric therapy clinics, Children’s Treatment Centre and a nursery school program for children with special needs.
Jacquie is also associated with the University of Toronto’s Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy program as a tutorial facilitator and clinical advisor and supervisor and she regularly attends professional development courses to expand her skills and perspectives.
When not at work Jacquie can usually be found carpooling for and watching her kids play hockey, hiking with her dog, exploring anywhere in nature or enjoying rare precious alone time with a good book.
