Amelia Rebolo (on leave)
Amelia has always wanted to make a positive impact on the way women experience labour and birth and is dedicated to being by your side to provide you and your partner with the physical and emotional support that you deserve when bringing new life into the world.
She is a certified birth and postpartum doula, infant sleep educator and placenta encapsulation specialist. Her warm and caring nature will help you feel safe and secure during your childbirth experience. Amelia began her journey as a doula after giving birth to three of her own children, each with their own unique story. She experienced first hand the support of a doula, and knew the value of that emotional and physical support made an immense difference in her experiences. She has supported families in all varieties of different birth scenarios including home births and hospital births and will work with you to help create your birth plan and support you in every decision you make.
Amelia has taken specialized training including acupressure, rebozo comfort measures and spinning babies techniques to help give you the best physical support possible. She is looking forward to witnessing your transformation and holding space for you on this journey.
Amelia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Women’s Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. She attends home and hospital births in Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, Toronto, Orangeville and surrounding areas.
