Spinning Babies® Parent Class – FREE INFO CLASS

FREE!

45 minutes

If you’re a patient in our clinic, you’ve likely heard us harp on and on (and on and on…) about fetal positioning. So often we hear mamas say “oh my baby is head down, so that’s good!” but that’s only one piece of the puzzle! We want to make sure your baby is head down and in a position that will encourage an easier birth. Let’s face it – we all want easier births! This is where spinning babies comes in.

In this info class, you will have an opportunity to meet Maria, our Spinning Babies Parent Educator.

You will learn:

  • What Spinning Babies is, and how it can bring comfort in pregnancy and ease at birth.
  • How to enrol for the class,
  • What the spinning babies parents class workshop will entail
  • What course materials will be included
  • Details of the one-on-one session with Maria
  • When is the best time to take the course and why
  • You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and know if this is for you!

Spinning Babies® is an approach to help and encourage you (together with your partner, loved one or friend) to connect deeply with your baby and your body, to bring balance and suppleness during your pregnancy and birth through simple exercises. Those simple techniques will help make room for baby to encourage optimal fetal positioning, bringing comfort to your pregnancy and ease at birth.

If, after the info session, you enrol in the full 3-hour parents class, you will learn how to encourage your baby into a better position for an easier birth.

The Parents Class Includes:
  • Basic Anatomy of the Pelvis and how it affects your birth.
  • Daily Essentials exercises and Three Sisters of Balance.
  • How to Rest Smart and Move Smart for fetal positioning.
  • Labour patterns
  • Baby’s journey through the three pelvic levels, opening the pelvic levels.
This info class is free. One ticket is good for two people: the birthing person and their partner.
