Newborn Care 101
This class covers what you need to know about your baby’s first few weeks and months of life so that you enter parenthood feeling more informed, confident and prepared.
We will discuss newborn characteristics, appearance, and behaviour as well as bathing, diapering, comforting, bonding, and the importance of early skin to skin. Other topics such as postpartum nutrition, infant feeding and sleep patterns will also be included.
We encourage both parents to attend and registration is limited to a maximum of eight (8) couples. This small group size allows the teacher to personalize the class to your needs and questions. Handouts and materials are provided.
