What people are saying about the class:
“Kira, I’m so glad that we chose to do our prenatal class with you versus at our hospital. I was especially interested in your prenatal class because it covered at least a taste of what to do when the baby arrives, rather than focusing solely on the birthing process. We definitely got a great introduction to many different approaches to experiencing birth. I really appreciated that you made sure that everyone had a chance to participate in the way they needed to.”

- Krystel LeaCertified Childbirth Educator
Krystel’s passion is to help people prepare physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for their birth so that they have the power and strength to instinctively birth their baby in a safe and gentle way.
Coming from a very big family, Krystel has always been surrounded by pregnant women and babies. She naturally took to tending to her baby cousins and helped in any way she could. During her last year of Registered Massage Therapy School, Krystel learned about Breast and Prenatal massage and realized what her passion was. She dove deeper into this passion and took more continuing education in Post partum massage, Thai Yoga Massage, Reflexology and even Belly Wrapping.
Krystel found great pleasure and purpose to helping women and their partners to prepare for the best birth specific to each couple. Within a year she became a Birth and Postpartum Doula with obtaining a certificate in Lamaze Childbirth Educator from the Canadian Institute of Childbirth Educator and finally became a Certified HypnoBirthing® Educator from the Mongan Method.
Aloha is a word that Krystel holds very deeply in her heart. Not only is her family from Hawaii, but the meaning of Aloha is Hawaiian. Aloha translates to “Breath of life” or “Presence of breath. “Alo” means Presence while “Ha” means Breath.
Not only does Krystel live by giving aloha love to everyone she meets, but also the Buddhist teaching of Metta. Translated in English Metta means “Loving kindness.” Through her work and her presence she hopes to inspire, educate and mentor people to achieving a birth they truly desire.
