What we cover in the workshop:
Learn about developmental milestones in the first two years of your baby’s life in our Infant Developmental Milestones workshop!
Oh, the joys of the toddler bedtime tango. Gone are the days when you could read a story, tuck your little in, give him a kiss and leave the room. Now he seems to have turned into the master strategist, trying to think of anything and everything to avoid going to sleep. I need some water. I want a snack. I have to pee. One more story. I need the light on. I need the light off. You may notice that your previously strict 7pm bedtime has drifted to 8pm, 9pm, even 10pm!
In this workshop, we will be outlining for you:
- how sleep is physiologically regulated at this stage of development, and how to ensure your daily rhythms are meeting your child’s sleep needs,
- how to provide your child with agency in their pre-sleep routine,
- evidence-based positive reinforcement strategies to help your child go to sleep with confidence and ease
- how to be clear and consistent in your messaging
We will help you develop a message that clearly signals the transition to sleep for your child and continues to promote positive associations with sleep time so it remains a secure and enjoyable part of the day.
Join us for a yoga series for mamas (or caregivers) and babies.
Join our naturopathic doctor to learn how to optimize your immune system to get through cold and flu season.
Join our naturopathic doctor to learn tips and tricks for managing eczema in your child!
This class covers what you need to know about your baby’s first few weeks and months of life so that you enter parenthood feeling more informed, confident and prepared.
As new parents, it is commonly treated as a rite of passage that we will be foregoing at least some sleep while we adjust to life with a little. This is a given. But no matter how much you prepare mentally for this stage, it can come as quite a shock when it actually hits.
In this workshop, I will be outlining for you:
- why sleep is so critical for your newborn and how it is internally regulated,
- how you can set up a sleep-promoting environment for your baby based on what physiological cues your baby’s brain and body are searching for,
- where to focus your undoubtedly limited energy during these early months
- how YOU can get your best post-natal sleep
I will help you develop a deep appreciation of your newborn’s internal landscape when it comes to sleep and how you can use this understanding to lay a solid sleep foundation for your entire household.
We have all heard about our pelvic floor at some point. But what is it? And what impact does pregnancy and birth have on your pelvic floor? Come and learn the basics of pelvic floor health.

If you’re a patient in our clinic, you’ve likely heard us harp on and on (and on and on…) about fetal positioning. So often we hear mamas say “oh my baby is head down, so that’s good!” but that’s only one piece of the puzzle! We want to make sure your baby is head down and in a position that will encourage an easier birth. Let’s face it – we all want easier births! This is where spinning babies comes in.
This info class will give you everything you need to know about whether or not the Spinning Babies Parents class is for you.
Spinning babies allows you to learn to connect deeply with your baby and your body, and bring balance to your pregnancy and birth through simple exercises.
Knowing when and how to start solids with your baby can be so daunting. Do you start with purees? Finger foods? When is the right time? There are so many questions.
Join our pediatric Occupational Therapist, Karen Don, in this ONLINE class as she leads you through everything you need to know to start solids with your baby. This is an interactive workshop and you should expect to discuss, learn and watch your baby interact with solid food.
This class may be covered by your extended health insurance under Occupational Therapy!
We think it’s safe to say that every parent becomes increasingly wary of those dreaded sleep regressions. Just when you thought you had a handle on this sleep business – your baby has started to string together some longer bouts of sleep, there’s more of a rhythm emerging in your day, there’s less overall resistance, and you are getting just a few more juicy hours of sleep for yourself – BAM! the all night wakings, struggles to initiate sleep, and complete lack of schedule coming stampeding back into your life.
In this workshop, we will be outlining for you:
- the key developments that almost ALWAYS wreak havoc on your baby’s sleep (also known as the 4-, 8- and 15-month sleep regressions),
- age-appropriate daily rhythms to set you and baby up for success in sleep,
- strategies for responding to sleep resistance proactively instead of reactively,
- how to be clear and consistent in your messaging
These stages are hard, no doubt about it. But our intention in this workshop is to reframe these sleep regressions through a deeper understanding of why they are happening in the first place so that you feel empowered and informed to meet your baby where they are at.
