Practical Tips for an Easier Pregnancy and a Better Birth
This class is currently being taught ONLINE in a live-taught, interactive format.
Join our West End Mamas chiropractors as they walk you through some of the easy, at-home things that you can do to feel your best during pregnancy (did you know that pregnancy shouldn’t be painful?) and how get your baby into a better position for an easier birth.
In this workshop we’ll cover:
- How to get in and out of bed without pain
- The cause of common aches in pains during pregnancy including round ligament pain, low back pain, rib pain and “lightning crotch”.
- Easy exercises to do at home to feel your best during pregnancy and for postpartum recovery
- Easy, at-home exercises to encourage your baby into an optimal position for birth
- Tips for at-home exercises to help you feel your best during pregnancy and leading up to your birth
One spot is good for ONE person. If you wish to bring a partner, please make sure to register them in addition to yourself.
This event is free and requires pre-registration. If for any reason your plans change and you can no longer attend, please let us know by emailing us at email@example.com or cancel your registration online, so that someone else may take your spot and so that we can plan appropriately.

- Dr. Olivia AvolioChiropractor
Dr. Olivia Avolio is a compassionate chiropractor, with a keen interest in perinatal and postnatal wellness. She is humbled to be part of an amazing team of professionals who focus exclusively on female health.
Dr. Olivia has a special interest in labour preparation, pain relief during pregnancy, and treating mamas with fetal malpositions including breech, transverse, and posterior babies. Dr. Olivia is a firm believer in inspiring others to learn about their health and empowering them to make informed health care decisions. She is excited to share her knowledge, experience and passion with you on your journey to health.
When she isn’t at the clinic, you can find her at the gym, watching Friends re-runs or enjoying time with family and friends.

- Dr. Katie RoyChiropractor
Dr Katie Inwood-Roy is a York region chiropractor. She is passionate about peri-natal wellness (pregnant & post-partum moms) and children’s health. She works with her patients to ease pregnancy related problems and optimize the pelvis for a quicker and smoother labour and delivery. Dr. Katie is passionate about utilizing non-invasive approaches to encourage optimal fetal positioning to give each woman options of how they bring their baby until the world.
She is certified in Webster Technique, Thompson Technique and Acupuncture (May 2019); she is also a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Out of the office, you’ll find Dr. Katie in the pool or exploring the outdoors with her awesome husband and their dog.
