Babywearing Meetup Group

THIS CLASS IS BEING HELD ONLINE, in a live-taught, interactive format. Prior to your class start time, you will receive a zoom link for this class.
Choosing a baby carrier and figuring out how to use it properly can be a daunting task, especially now that there are so many on the market. Don’t feel overwhelmed!
Bring your carrier and your baby and join our certified babywearing educator, Michelle Lam, to learn the ins and outs of babywearing, so you can feel confident wearing your baby safely and comfortably.
This is a casual intro to babywearing session, so no back wrapping or advanced wrapping techniques will be taught.

Class / Workshop Facilitators
Michelle Lam (she/her)Babywearing Educator
It was Michelle’s own struggles caring for and nursing her firstborn that sparked her interests in babywearing and breastfeeding support. Fast forward two years and two children later, today Michelle is a Babywearing Educator and an IBCLC-in-training.
It is Michelle’s joy to empower caregivers to know and feel that they are being the best caregivers they can be- for their little ones as well as themselves. She works closely with families to equip them with practical, hands-on skills that can be incorporated into their daily lives. She hopes to meet families where they are, journey with them to reach their goals, and promote a wholesome and intricate view on healthcare and wellness.
Michelle is in the process of obtaining her IBCLC certification as she trains under Dr. Jack Newman at the International Breastfeeding Centre in North York. At the clinic, she wears her new baby in a carrier so that she can provide breastfeeding support and get some work done!
When she’s not helping families in need, Michelle is hanging out at home with her husband Gabe, daughters Charlotte and Amelia, and fur-babies Maverick and Chewbacca.
