What we cover in the workshop:
CPR
Choking
Asthma
Anaphylaxis
Drowning
Burns
Head Injuries
Seizures
Nosebleeds
Do you know what to do if your child chokes or stops breathing? Or if they get heat stroke? How about if they get a deep cut, or other injury? This class covers all of that and more.
This interactive 2.5 hour workshop taught by firefighter and dad of 3, Kevin Tsang, is geared for parents, grandparents, and caregivers of infants, toddlers and small children.
This class is designed for those who don’t require full training but would love to have some life saving skills should an emergency arise.
What Participants Are Saying About This Class:
“A note to thank you for such a worthwhile, relevant presentation on Thursday evening.
We attended, as upcoming first-time grandparents, with our daughter and her husband. After taking copious notes, we had lots to talk about afterwards.
We feel so much better prepared, and confident, for “life” after your teachings.
You have a very reassuring, knowledgeable manner in your presentation style. Thanks for that too!”
-C.M.

Kevin’s experience as a first responder and dad of 3 gives him a unique vantage point on what are the most important things to know in an emergency. When Kevin is not teaching, he enjoys doing renovation work (he built both of our West End Mamas clinics!), riding his motorcycle, playing sports and hanging out with his family.
Kevin is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
