We’re not talking about the actual steps that your baby takes, somewhere after 9 months old (on average) – we’re talking about how we deal with life with a little one. Deep breaths and baby steps. Day by day. Hour by hour. Minute by minute and even second by second, sometimes.
Our own Lynne Newman, pediatric Occupational Therapist, teaches a fabulous class with us called Baby Steps. It’s on how to interact with your little one during those moments. Things to do with them. Ways to play. Ways to cope. Getting through the moments, and not just surviving, but thriving as a new mama.
We love this class and know you will too. We have a new series starting next Thursday. 6 weeks long: long enough to learn some new skills to help fill the time with your little one, and also make some new mama friends along the way. Bonus: If you’ve got private insurance, the class might even be covered under occupational therapy. We provide a receipt that you can submit to your insurance at the end of class. Level 1: 6 weeks-6 months (roughly). Level 2: 6 months-walking.
